En signant trois meilleurs temps dans le Trophée Clio, Thomas Chauffray était revenu à moins de dix secondes de Leal Tabares, le leader. Malheureusement, en concédant plus de dix-sept secondes dans l’avant dernier chrono, le pilote Français a perdu toute chance de victoire mais se console avec une excellente seconde place au milieu des pilotes espagnols.
Les autres Français ont été moins à la fête, Julien Baziret terminant 7ème quant Vincent Rieu et Guillaume Canivenq ferment la marche des Clio. Enfin, cette première manche du Championnat Espagnol a permi à José-Antonio Suarez de démarrer parfaitement sa saison avec une victoire indiscutable face à Jan Solans.
