Moins de 7 secondes, voilà ce qui sépare les trois prétendants à la victoire et le Monté Carlo n’a pas choisi son vainqueur entre Ogier, Evans et Neuville. Ce trois là ce sont battus comme des chiffonniers toute la journée. Ce fut une course superbe qui verra son dénouement sur les 4 dernières spéciales au programme.
Les temps et la bagarre prouve que ces trois sont sur une autre planète sur ce Monté Carlo.
Derrière eux Sébastien Loeb voit fondre Lappi qui surnage dans le naufrage des Ford et la quatrième place sera elle aussi très disputée. Rovanpera pour sa part continue à apprendre la Monté Carlo en WRC. Derrière c’est loin, très loin du compte.
En RC2, Eric Camilli gère sa course alors qu’Ostberg est arrivé à passer devant Nicolas Ciamin qui réalise une course intelligente.
