En attendant de faire débuter la Hyundai Kona EV à l’occasion du Repco Battle Of Jacks Ridge, Hayden Paddon, a remporté une victoire convaincante ce samedi lors du rallye de la ville d’Auckland.
Le pilote Hyundai a remporté la victoire avec deux minutes et 40 secondes d’avance et a dominé la journée qui s’est déroulée sur les spéciales qui devaient être utilisées dans le WRC Rally New Zealand et annulé par la pandémie de coronavirus.
«Quelle journée incroyable», a déclaré Paddon lors de la remise des prix à Jacks Ridge. «La météo d’Auckland était parfaite, les routes étaient incroyables et nous avons passé une excellente journée. J’ai hâte de revenir demain à Jacks Ridge pour la bataille de Repco à Jacks Ridge.»
Raana Horan a terminé deuxième de sa Skoda Fabia R5 après une bonne devant Dylan Turner (Audi) a devancé Emma Gilmour (Suzuki).
